5 illustrated Hebrew stories, modeled after English easy readers.
These booklets only use the vowel Kamatz.
Each story starts with a character overview. Characters are recurring - less mental resources spend on figuring out who's who helps readers focus on decoding the story.
Before the story begins there's also a vocabulary list with translations to help readers (and educators).
A note to Chabad educators: Non-kosher animals are only included as part of the stories if they are frequently mentioned in the Torah, so that children can practice these words. Stories 2 and 3 include the word גמל (camel).
Each reader has two files. The one for screen reading lets the educator preview the story on the screen (i.e., the first page is first). The print version is formatted so that when you select ‘print as booklet,’ it prints with the correct orientation for Hebrew (i.e., the last page is the first page on the screen).
